Day 1 - Arrive Halong, Welcome aboard

Our driver will meet you at your hotel at 7:45am to take you on the 4-hour drive through the countryside of the Red River Delta to Halong Bay. Arrive at the jetty around noon and board the cruise ship. Enjoy a welcome cocktail on board, go over a cruise briefing, safety instructions and cabin check-in. Indulge in a delicious Asian-fusion lunch as we set sail through this beautiful bay and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the afternoon stop for a visit to the Hang Sung Sot or “Surprise Cave” and explore its three cavernous chambers. Next, arrive at Luon Cave, either visiting by local rowboat, or kayaking to explore the grotto on your own. Return to the Paradise around 5pm to enjoy a brief cooking demonstration in the art of Vietnamese cuisine. Enjoy the evening at your leisure, with free time to go swimming or kayaking around Tung Sau, where we lay anchor for the night. Savor a cocktail on the expansive sundeck, before descending to the dining room for an elegant three-course meal. Happy hour will be served on the sundeck until 11:00pm. Pass the night on your private junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters.

Day 2: Halong Bay Cruise—Hanoi

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the sundeck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Take advantage of the beauty spa services or enjoy a morning dip or kayak trip in the warm waters of the South China Sea. Have breakfast on board, as we continue our cruise to Ti Top, one of Halong’s most beautiful beaches. Climb the 400 steps to the top of the limestone peak to capture a breathtaking, panoramic view of the bay. Return to the boat to check out of the cabins and settle bills. We return to Halong City at 10:30am. Your driver will be awaiting you at the dock to take you back to your hotel or residence in Hanoi.

Day 2: Halong Bay Cruise & Cat Ba Island
Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the sundeck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Take advantage of the beauty spa services or enjoy a morning dip or kayak trip in the warm waters of the South China Sea. Have breakfast on the Paradise then board the day-trip boat and motor to Cat Ba Island. Take a bicycle trip through the Island’s pristine forests, then visit a local village to learn about daily life or take a hiking trip to the top of Dai Hai Quan, “Navy Peak.” Return to day boat around 1:00pm for a set-menu lunch of Vietnamese cuisine.

Depart from Viet Hai Jetty and continue your cruise through Halong Bay, stopping at Dark Cave and Light Cave for a chance to relax, swim or snorkel. Return to the Paradise in the late afternoon for free time to relax and freshen up before the night’s gourmet, 5-course dinner. Head to the sundeck after dinner for happy hour or enjoy a movie night or spa services.

Day 3: Halong Bay Cruise—Hanoi
Start the day with a sunrise session of Tai Chi on the sundeck then enjoy the morning at your leisure: swimming, kayaking or spa service. Have breakfast on board, as we continue our cruise to Ti Top, one of Halong’s most beautiful beaches.
